You must be at least 18 years old to play, deposit coins, or withdraw winnings. By using CheckmateWager, you confirm that participation in online skill-based competitions is legal in your jurisdiction.
CheckmateWager allows players to enter chess matches and tournaments using digital coins. Coins may be purchased, won, and withdrawn once verification is complete. Coins are not real-world currency while inside the platform.
Coins act as competition entry tokens. A 10% house rake may be applied to tournament prize pools when Late Registration expires.
Purchased coins and winnings are securely stored using NOWPayments crypto custody services. Fraud checks and blockchain confirmations may delay withdrawals.
Use of chess engines, bots, coaching, or any outside assistance is strictly prohibited during online play. We may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate fair play or attempt fraud.
All transactions are handled by third-party payment providers (e.g., NOWPayments). CheckmateWager does not store credit card information or private wallet keys.
All coin purchases are final. Refunds will not be issued for:
• Used or unused coins
• Lost matches
• Tournament entry fees
Failure to complete a match due to network issues or device problems may result in a recorded loss. Players are responsible for maintaining a stable connection.
You use CheckmateWager at your own risk. We are not responsible for financial loss, delays, technical failures, gameplay errors, or damages of any kind.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate rules, abuse systems, or disrupt gameplay integrity. Coins may be confiscated in cases of confirmed fraud.
All cryptocurrency transactions are final once submitted to the blockchain and confirmed by the network.
To receive coins, the full required payment amount for the selected package must be received and confirmed.
Partial or underpaid transactions:
• Do not qualify for coin delivery
• Are not eligible for refunds
• Are considered a forfeiture of funds
CheckmateWager does not guarantee recovery of misdirected funds, including payments sent:
• On the wrong network or to an incorrect address
• With insufficient gas fees causing failed or delayed confirmation
Users are fully responsible for verifying amounts, networks, wallet compatibility, and transaction fees before sending cryptocurrency.
