Welcome to Checkmate League, a 100% skill-based chess competition platform. All match outcomes are determined by player strategy and skill. No gambling, wagering, or chance-based systems exist on this platform.
No wagering or gambling of real money occurs on Checkmate League.
“Checkmate League,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to the Checkmate League platform, operating as an online skill-based chess competition service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, deposit coins, enter competitions, or withdraw winnings. By using Checkmate League, you confirm that participation in online skill-based competitions is legal in your jurisdiction.
Checkmate League allows players to enter chess matches and tournaments using digital coins. Coins may be purchased, earned through gameplay, and withdrawn once verification is complete. Coins are not real-world currency while held within the platform.
Coins function as competition entry tokens. A house rake of up to 10% may be applied to tournament prize pools after Late Registration closes.
Purchased coins and winnings are handled through third-party payment and custody providers, such as NOWPayments. Fraud checks, blockchain confirmations, and compliance reviews may delay withdrawals.
The use of chess engines, bots, scripts, coaching assistance, or any outside help during live matches is strictly prohibited.
Accounts that violate fair play rules, attempt fraud, or manipulate platform systems may be suspended or permanently banned.
All deposits and withdrawals are processed by third-party providers. Checkmate League does not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or crypto wallet private keys.
All coin purchases are final.
Refunds will not be issued for:
• Used or unused coins
• Lost matches
• Tournament entry fees
Match losses resulting from disconnections, timeouts, device issues, or unstable internet connections may be recorded as losses. Players are responsible for maintaining a reliable connection.
Use of the platform is at your own risk. Checkmate League is not liable for financial losses, technical issues, delayed transactions, gameplay errors, or indirect or consequential damages.
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms, abuse of systems, or actions that compromise gameplay integrity. Coins may be forfeited in cases of confirmed fraud or rule violations.
All cryptocurrency transactions are final once submitted to the blockchain and confirmed by the network.
To receive coins, the full required payment amount must be received and confirmed.
Partial or underpaid transactions:
• Do not qualify for coin delivery
• Are not eligible for refunds
• May be considered a forfeiture of funds
Users are fully responsible for verifying wallet addresses, networks, fees, and transaction details before submitting payments.
